They both look great, graphic wise. As far as the engine goes, I bet they can do the exact same game. I think the big difference will come down to physics and game play.

There's alot of 360 owners who own the PS2. They just don't have the money to afford the PS3 right now or just waiting for the 'triple A' titles they want to come out.
It is getting old.
We as gamers have nothing to gain if one of the consoles cease to exist. In all actuality, it hurts us as the consumer, because the product we buy will not be as good due to the lack of competition.
The more Sony and Microsoft push it this generation, the better the next will be.
Now Microsoft needs to pull their head out of their ass and cut the price on all the sku's of the 360.

They should have made it like the one they put up for auction on Ebay a while back. (black with the big white to blue fade Halo 3 symbol coming up from the crater in the earth) Now that would've sold like mad.
10 years is too long for any type of gaming technology. I don't want to be playing the same game system in 10 years.
The only people playing the old systems are the ones who can't afford the new ones, or they're too young to know better. It's a simple as that.
I love my 360 and really don't plan on buying a PS3 for a long while, if ever. (maybe for a blu-ray player :-) )
I thought Sony had the strongest showing. They needed it though to silence alot of critics.
Killzone looked very good and MGS4 was just another CG (have to wait for the TGS to see gameplay)
Let's hope we don't see both these games at the next E3. :-)

I've had a "day 1" launch console and have had no problems. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. The thing about it though, is they make the games I want to play.
You got to give to them. Their strategy worked! They were the first to market and they are in the drivers seat of this console war.(360 vs. PS3. I think Nintendo will sell the most.) It's up to them to make the right moves from here on out.
